Amazing food! You have to try the fried pickles!
Coming home from vacation, looking for a place for lunch and happened upon Staghorn Cafe. There where no customers there at the time, around 2 .p.m. saw a certificate on counter where they where picked in the top 40 cafe's in Texas by magazine Texas Monthly. The food was Oustanding!!! We had chicken fried steak/chicken and all the works including dessert, it waz Excellent!!! Highly recommend it.
Wonderful stop for food if you happen to be in Cross Plains, TX. Go with the chicken fried chicken!
